| Twitter Owns TweetDeck Officially Posted: 26 May 2011 01:22 AM PDT With the completion of the deal last Tuesday, Lain Dodsworth, TweetDeck founder and CEO, happily announced in his blog post that Twitter has officially owned TweetDeck, a third part desktop client for Twitter. Eventhough price of acquisition is not mentioned, CNN reported earlier that it was made with $ 40 million. The team will remain the same and now with the support of the mother company, Twitter, TweetDeck will grow and take on even big challenges in the future.
