| Canon PowerShot G12 DIGIC 4 Compact Camera Posted: 18 Sep 2010 07:20 PM PDT Canon has update their G Series compact camera. It’s Canon PowerShot G12 which is identical with the predecessor G11. If you combine the Powershot G11 with video capture 720p/24p, you will get G12 camera.
Canon Powershot G12 has DIGIC 4 image processor, high sensitivity system to produce high quality images in low-light condition. There are 10M pixel high sensitivity CCD sensor, 5x optical zoom lens with image stabilization and 28-mm wide angle lens.
The G12 has the longer zoom range, articulated LCD, stereo audio and easier-to-work-with QuickTime MOV video over the LX5, extend the ISO range up to ISO 12800, ability to shoot at up to 4.2 shots per second, allows shooting at shutter speeds approximately 4-stops and provided high-resolution Vari-Angle PureColor II VA LCD screen.
Canon PowerShot G12 also supports SD/SDHC, SDXC as well as MMC memory cards. It offers mini HDMI output. Coming in early October, the G12 will be priced at $499.99. |
