This time, the Samsung SL630, which offers a 12.2-megapixel sensor with a 28mm wide-angle zoom lens capable of up to 5 optical time. The camera is small enough in size and measures 0.8 inches thick. Specialties include the SL630 dual image stabilization, video capture up to a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels at 30 frames per second and a bunch of automatic shooting modes for better performance while allowing the camera to take Most of the work. The other advanced feature on the camera is a mode called Perfect Portrait System which has a number of regular features such as face detection with smile detection and blink beauty shots. Other features include an LCD screen of 2.7 inches that displays 230K pixels. The camera is scheduled for launch in March although the exact dates and prices are not known. With it being a camera input range without HD capabilities I expect it may fall below $ 200. [via gadgetvenue] a |
Motorola Milestone Android HTC Hero Phone Posted: 19 Feb 2010 12:30 PM PST The Milestone has been so emphasized as the best phone Android HTC as the hero. Seeing that the hero has been around since July last year – a life for a smartphone – it is time that someone came with a serious challenger. The good news is that despite some drawbacks, the event saw really an exaggeration and punters the hero in a number of areas. Let’s get the bad news of the first order. When it comes to design, Motorola recently seems to have wandered off in the wrong direction. This was very evident in the Dexter bulky and ugly, and unfortunately with the Milestone’s design team seems to still be lost in the desert. And to put it mildly it is a strange-looking phone. As Dext the handset has a sliding QWERTY keyboard, but unlike the model of the screen here does not fully cover the lower half of the phone when closed. Instead it leaves a protruding lip at the base. This lip feels quite strange when you use the keyboard, is a magnet for dust and thus simply looks bad. Even without that odd lip, the phone is not exactly a spectator as the overall design has a very square and industrial feel to it. However, at least the build quality and robust mechanism for smooth sliding keyboard does give you the impression that the phone will withstand lots of bumps and scrapes on his life. The keyboard is also far from being the best we’ve seen on a phone. There is no space between keys and individual as they are completely flat and have very little travel is quite difficult to get a decent typing speed. To the right of the keyboard there is a fairly large four way D-pad controller. This was probably added to make editing text that bit easier, but we understood that we do not use it that much and could not help thinking that it would have been better if Motorola had dropped completely and just increase the size and space between keys. Fortunately, things improve dramatically when you reach the screen because it is one of the best shows we’ve ever used on any mobile phone. It’s just that good. In 3.7inches it is very important, but unlike the display on HTC HD2 she does not have a phone too chunky. It is bright and the colors too bright aspect admirably, with the result that the photos and videos virtually leap from the screen. And pin sharp 854 x 480 pixel resolution means that even when you’re zoomed out on a webpage, the tiny text is still crisp enough to read in landscape mode. [via trustedreviews] a |

Nintendo DS (DS2) May Feature Motion Controls Games Posted: 18 Feb 2010 10:30 PM PST Development Kit Nintendo DS2 suggests that when the next Nintendo DS (perhaps Nintendo DS2) May feature ’tilt’ control. Controls ’tilt’ is said to be quite similar to controls that appear on Apple’s popular iPhone, tilt controls have proven to be extremely popular with iPhone games. Many consumers now see the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch as an alternative to the Nintendo DS and Sony PSP, it is not surprising that Nintendo May adopt certain ideas that Apple products have recently featured.
