Posted: 04 Sep 2009 06:20 PM PDT

I had posted a few days about Windows Mobile 6.5 Build 23401 and now one more version of Windows Mobile has been leaked in the net.The version number is 23409.I am surprised within no time we see a new leak after the version 23401.This version number fixes the bug fixes which were there in the previous version and brings in more stability to the build. Are you gonna try this or rather wait til October 6th when Windows Mobile phones are launched officially. For links just google and you are ready to go.till then check out the screenies.

Access Windows Registry through Explorer in Vista

Posted: 04 Sep 2009 05:46 PM PDT

You know how registry is a main critical part of Windows and i always end up screwing up something or the other either by using registry tweaking utilities like Resource Hacker or something else, but its fun trying new things.Normally how do you fire up Registry is by going into “Run command” and then type in “regedit” and do what ever you wish like.Today i just read an alternative way of doing this right from the Windows Vista Registry Shell Namespace Extension.

This Shell Extension allows Windows Explorer to be able to view and interact with the Windows Registry. You can search, edit, create or delete registry information via windows explorer. It also demonstrates new concepts in Vista including the property system extensibility and content indexing.Check out how its done through pics. Its still in beta and some options won’t be present as seen through the original registry.I am gonna try this once i reach home.If this is gonna work for Vista it should be able to work on Windows 7.Hoping to work in the upcoming releases.

Do you need another reason?
