Windows 7 Build 7227 leaks

Posted: 10 Jun 2009 02:49 AM PDT

Yesterday i was searching Piratebay for some movies and i just hooked into the Windows 7 7225 and 7227 torrents. As i was kinda busy i didn’t go to check the validity of comments and the checksums so i assumed it was a fake build.Today the news got confirmed  as Neowin just reported the news too.So as far as Microsoft is concerned leaks are common.

I am not sure its done on purpose or accidently. After the Windows 7 7201 Sp1 leak this is the next leak.Even Windows 7 7225 also leaked but its has not much changes and its same as the 7200 RC2 build. The build tag is 7227.0.winmain_sp.090602-2110 indicating that the build is just over a week old.

Yesterday when the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) which is
the premier technical event for developers and IT professionals innovating with Apple platforms ended.Phil Schiller's discussed various aspects of the powerful technologies in iPhone OS, Mac OS X and Mac OS X Server.

Phil Schiller also made a point on iPhone 3GS,iPhone 3.0 demos,Iphone SDK and Iphone 3.0 OS,Snow leopard(Mac OSX 10.6),Safari 4,Quick time X, New Mac book Air and also 13,15 and 17 inch Mac Book Pros.Let me tell you what happened.

iPhone 3GS:

This is the new Iphone released by Apple after the 3G and 2G. Here ‘S’ stands for Speed and is believed to be the fastest, most powerful iPhone yet, packed with incredible and awesome new features including improved speed and performance–up to twice as fast as iPhone. Launching Messages  2.1x faster, opens an Excel attachment 3.6x faster.

Its included with better light sensitivity. Macro as close as 10cm away, and better low light performance. And there’s an API for developers. But the best thing about this camera, is that it also captures video.Check the video clarity.

It has better battery life and hardware encryption(Remote wipe, encrypted iTunes backups).Up to 9 hours WiFi, 10 hours video, 30 hours audio, 12 hours 2G talk, 5 hours 3G talk time. The price for Iphone 3GS is fixed at 199$ for 16GB and 299$ for 32GB.It will come in black and white colors. It will be available on June 19th stateside and in 80 more countries in August although Iphone 3G 8G price will be selling at only 99$ on a new 2-year AT&T contract.

I am guessing any remaining 16GB iPhone 3G units will be lessened at closeout rates as well. Oh BTW if you’re mid-contract on AT&T (with any phone), you’ll be asked to shell out a whopping $299 for one of these 8GB units or $399 / $499 for the 16GB / 32GB iPhone 3GS. You’ll have to pay a bit more if you’re mid-contract, though — $299 for the 3G and $399/$499 for the 3G S. That’ insanely expensive.
