There have been allegations that the fatty Samsung 23-inch OLED TV will have a release date some time in 2010, but because of how long we’ve seen prototypes at trade shows, you must be a little skeptical regarding these allegations.

MegaWhat.tv is the site that made the requests for release of 2010 for the Samsung 23-inch OLED TV. The new technology will be a 2000000:1 contrast ratio and DVI / HDMI inputs, but the surprise is that the unit may be 1.6 centimeters thick.

Screens have progressed significantly in recent years. As technology has advanced, they seem to be easier to use and much more responsive. Mix with faster processors and faster operating systems, you get a fresh scroll and operation of the system. However, they are not quite where they should be. For example, sending a text message on a mobile phone with a touch screen can be quite painful. Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University have developed a screen that can change shape slightly to form the buttons on the screen if necessary.

The screen surface can be completely plain or have raised or lowered can automatically buttons that appear. Morphing buttons were created by Chris Harrison and Scott Hudson and were created as a proof of concept.

Kenwood, known for being the speaker in the industry have established a new chairman who has an OLED screen built in. Speakers are integrated into an OLED light source (pictured below) and energy savings as well as ultra-thin.

The big three search engines always seem to follow each other, this time, Microsoft has followed Google and Yahoo by adding the ability to hold conversations in instant messaging to its Web site. This means that Microsoft added to the web chat Hotmail.

Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) announced yesterday they are to launch an update to the Opteron server chip road map, in which they hope will attract customers from Intel. The new processor called Istanbul is almost the same as Intel’s current Xeon, since it uses 45-nanometer manufacturing process, but they offer better value for money and will be ready by 2010.

Information Week also tell us that AMD plans to launch eight to 12-nm 45-core processor code-named Magny-Cours in 2011, they also plan to launch 32-nm 12 - to 16-core chip code-named Interlagos.
