| Europe has a new top browser, StatCounter says Posted: 04 Jan 2011 08:57 AM PST StatCounter, a famous web analytics, confirmed that Mozilla's Firefox browser has overtaken the number one spot of Europe's market of internet browser.  Here is the ranking: (as of December 2010) 1. Mozilla Firefox - 38.1 % 2. Internet Explorer - 37.5 % 3. "This appears to be happening because Google's Chrome is stealing share from Internet Explorer while Firefox is mainly maintaining its existing share" But globally, Microsoft's bet is still on top with Mozilla's Fox behind.
