| Acer TravelMate 5542 AMD Turion II Laptop Posted: 11 Nov 2010 10:34 PM PST Acer release a new laptop based on AMD processor. It’s Acer TravelMate 5542 which can choose 2.4GHz AMD Turion II Dual-Core mobile processor with 2MB of Level 2 cache or a 2.2GHz Athlon II processor with 1MB of L2 cache, 4GB of RAM (up to 8GB) and Radeon HD 4250 graphic card.
Acer TravelMate 5542 include a 15.6-inch HD display (1,366 x 768 pixels), Gigabit Ethernet, a 1.3 megapixel Crystal Eye webcam,. 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, a 2-in-1 card reader and a DVD writer. Also it has has Dolby optimized surround sound system with two integrated stereo speakers and integrated microphone. The TravelMate 5542 notebook has 6-cell Li-Ion battery which provides up to 3 hours of usage, Acer’s Backup Manager which can provide scheduled data backups, data compression for space savings and data encryption for protecting files and Microsoft Windows 7 Professional OS. The Acer TravelMate 5542 Laptop costs $549. |
