Posted: 15 Sep 2010 08:01 PM PDT Apple has just released the iOS 4.2 Beta Software Update for iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, iPod touch 4G, iPad which is now available for download via the developer portal.If you are a registered member at the iPhone Developer Standard or Enterprise Program, then you can download iOS 4.2 beta firmware for iPhone 3G, 3GS , iPad and iPod Touch 2G and 3G now! Some of the features include wireless printing, AirPlay and Airtunes In Wireless printing, Print Center appears with the number of print jobs in the multitasking tray. With AirPlay [previously AirTunes] you can listen to music from all over your house from your mobile device. Apart from it, you can even stream all kinds of media anywhere in your house. Awesome feature! Ain’t it ? iOS 4.2 software update works with iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 3G and it is important to note that all features are not compatible with all iDevices. For example, multitasking is available only with iPhone 4, iPad and iPhone 3GS.The iPad download is a 514 MB .dmg file, while the iPhone 4 is a 617 MB one.
