RIM to launch Blackberry tablet Posted: 17 May 2010 08:50 AM PDT RIM is developing a BlackBerry tablet to compete with the iPads, WePads and Dell Streaks of this world.BoyGeniusreport posted some exclusive information about the Blackberry tablet. They have confirmed with multiple sources that the 8.9 inch touch screen BlackBerry tablet will be strictly a "companion" device. If you are wondering what it is all about, take a good hard look at the Palm Foleo. Yes, the BlackBerry tablet will not have any cellular networking built in, and will rely on either a Bluetooth connection to your BlackBerry or the built-in Wi-Fi radio. Additionally, they are hearing that the launch of the tablet is slated for December, but the team working on the project is trying to get it out to the marketplace sooner than that. Lastly, the focus of the device is said to be multimedia — think e-books, emailing, web browsing, photo viewing. To be honest, as a complementary device that is coming from RIM, we are not sure why they are even trying here. Especially since RIM employees have privately voiced their frustration to regarding this initiative. It appears that up until at least pre-iPad announcement, RIM had a monochrome version of a tablet device in their wings. Yes, you heard correct — it looks like RIM was, at least one time, trying to build a Kindle competitor. ![]() Related Posts : |
HTC HD3 pics and specs sheet leaked Posted: 17 May 2010 05:58 AM PDT A leaked impressive spec sheet, complete with photos, of the fabled HTC HD3 has been posted by Knowyourmobile thanks to mobilmentalism.com.While the stats are hard to believe, (Frontward facing camera for video chat in HD…Woah ! Is this a dream ?) the pictures look incredible! This would be one killer handset, to be sure, but will HTC deliver on this dream ? Have a look at some of the specs and you decide.
This seems like a pretty tall order, even for HTC to fill. However, if supply and demand has anything to say about it, there will certainly be demand for this phone. With killer specs all HTC has to do now is come up with a supply for more orders. I am sure a queue would be for the pre-order.

Apple MacBook specs leaked in Vietnam (video) Posted: 17 May 2010 02:56 AM PDT Vietnam is creating all the buzz these days with the next gen iPhone 4G/HD specs and video and now to add to the buzz Tinhte have just scooped themselves what appears to be an unannounced MacBook update (identifying itself as a MacBook7,1) that includes a faster 2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor (up from 2.26GHz) and NVIDIA GeForce 320M graphics with 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM (an update from the GeForce 9400M found in the current MacBook6,1), the same CPU and GPU as the entry level 13-inch MacBook Pro but for only $999 (assuming Apple maintains the same entry-level pricing).
These minor bumps aren’t enough to warrant a model change, however, as we’re still seeing “Model No: A1342″ stamped on the box. Of course, this could be an elaborate hoax, but Tinhte has an impressive track record and these MacBook specs are right in line with what we’d expect since the white MacBook was last updated in October 2009. No word on when we’ll see these announced but it’s gotta be soon — Tuesday perhaps, with a refreshed MacBook Air.Check out the specs and the video unboxing video. Features of Macbook 7.1
