Ping Facebook's friends with Darmour's Ping

It's not a command from the Windows command prompt. It does not ping or trace an IP address or hostname within your network but with the same functionality, Jennifer Darmour's Ping is designed to ping your friends in facebook. It is a garment that connects to your facebook account wirelessly and from anywhere.

Pinoy Celebrities for Apple's ipad

Just recently, Kris Aquino, who was hailed by Yes Magazine recently in it's Yes! List of Top 20 Stars Who Ruled The Decade (2000-2009) as the Most Influential Star in the Philippines, gained an Apple Ipad as addition to her gadgets collection like Blackberry and some techie stuffs. In addition to Pinoy celebrities list of Ipad Users are Kim Chiu (gift from Kris), Boy Abunda, Jed Madela, Anne Curtis (from Sam Milby), Lea Salonga and others.

But why Ipad? And I am sure lots and lots of Philippine Celebrities will purchase this gadget soon but why? Apple's Ipad has surpassed the ebook reading capability of Amazon's Kindle. Ipad is not just for Text reading (ebook) but is designed for email, photos browsing and video showing. It looks like the Amazon's Kindle physically but the features had run above the expectation.

So what are inside this gadget? To name the few, Ipad is of course on its touch screen feature. Its 9.7-inch high-resolution screen enables user to watch video from youtube easily and widely. Photo sharing and slideshow can also be made. You can check your emails and other internet stuffs with iPad. For the music lovers, you can touch your songs with iPod and iTunes embedded on the gadget. You want application shopping? then as expected, App Store is the best. And lastly, the reason why Kris Aquino purchased iPad is for its wide reading capability with its iBooks, text looks crisps and bright and you can feel the enjoyment of reading.

iPad is not yet released in the Philippines, some techie pipz used their paypal account for shopping online and some requested their relatives to buy the gadget at the USA. As of now, iPad starts in its unbelievable price, $499 or more or less 23,000-25,000 Pesos.
