Casio EX-10HG GPS Digital Camera Posted: 23 Feb 2010 05:30 AM PST Back at CES in Las Vegas last month, Casio has been on display with a camera concept called the Casio EX-10HG. This camera is particularly similar to EX-FH100 but it is different in that it has built in GPS chip. The GPS chip is used more than just geo-tagging and property may be used as a guidance system by pulling data from Google Maps to show you exactly where you are at a given moment. More at PMA that is running today, a representative Casio has revealed that the camera idea was actually to be launched this year in October and will cost $ 400. We do not know all the ins and outs of the camera just yet that the specifications have been revealed before a model concept that could change over time. What seems to remain the same is the GPS (obviously) with 10 times optical zoom along a 12.1-megapixel sensor. Other things mentioned that could be seen in the final variation of the EX-10HG is that the LCD screen available on the concept becomes an LCD touch the final version. Of course, the touch screen with Google Maps and integrated GPS navigation is expected to capture and destination much easier. [via gadgetvenue] a |
Samsung TL500 Compact Digital Camera Posted: 23 Feb 2010 02:30 AM PST Samsung launched the Samsung point and TL500 compact digital camera. The camera it self is for the “high-end” of point and shoot cameras since the features he put on how does a digital SLR camera, except for not having a interchangeable lens, which keeps the size down. The goal came with the unit is secure on the body is actually quite capable and has a wide opening of f/1.8 allows light hitting the sensor in dark scenes. Full manual controls can be found with multiple control dials to get the camera to take the photo you want to take it. A drawback of the TL500 is that Samsung can not record video in HD format and is limited to the DS. The TL500 will be priced at $ 450 at launch, which makes a bit more expensive than other items and cameras but with the goal and it has all the characteristics of employment in the price “could” be justified. The TL500 Samsung will be available during the spring at a price of $ 450. The closer at DCI indicates that the failure to record HD video really does not leave the camera down. [via gadgetvenue] a |
Sony BDV-E300 Blu-ray 3D Home Cinema System Posted: 22 Feb 2010 11:30 PM PST Buying an all-in-a Blu-ray is often the easiest and cheapest way to update your disk drive and the sound system at a time. Build and sound quality are not always as impressive as carefully matched separates, but for some people the extra convenience is worth the compromise. There are, however, some manufacturers who invest a little time and effort in carrying out their all-in-one, giving you a better price ratio sound quality Pioneer and Sony are two that come to mind. Which brings us neatly to the BDV-E300, one of Sony’s current Blu-ray-in-a-box solutions. Although it must be replaced in the spring, when Sony launches its first batch of 3D-capable systems (but with an upgrade of firmware), the BDV-E300 offers all the essential Blu-ray, and because This is not new, you should be able to find it online for a decent price. The BDV-E300 is a simple proposition. The main unit is a combined drive blu-ray/dvd and 5.1-channel amplifier, providing 1000 watts of power, and he is joined in the area by the front and rear speakers, a center speaker and a passive subwoofer thin. The main unit is deliberately thick and stocky like home theater systems of yesteryear, and although Sony has not really pushed the boat into the black finish is easy on the eye. But more importantly, build quality is excellent. The LED display panel is large and prominent, while the glossy black panel above the fascia is hosting a row of buttons (unfortunately not touch). There is no USB port on the front, which is a real shame if you have a wealth of digital music, videos and photos you want to enjoy the show. Instead, Sony cleverly ties you into the Digital Media Port property on the back. A variety of adapters are available as options, including Bluetooth devices and audio wireless network, but fortunately, you get the TDM-IP20 iPod dock in the box. [via trustedreviews] a |
