Sony PS3 3D Firmware Update Coming Soon Games Posted: 10 Feb 2010 08:30 PM PST Several months ago we first heard that 3D was heading towards the PlayStation 3 in the path of an updated firmware that would transform all existing games in a 3D format automatically. Although it has been said that all games that go well in 3D, this would give an extra dimension and work well on a number of games already released on the console. What we hear now is that the updated firmware might happen in the months to come along side Sony BRAVIA 3D screens specifically designed to be compatible with the PS3 in 3D. From what we hear, Sony will develop games that are specifically designed to work in 3D. And new 3D games being launched, the firmware will also 3D BD (Blu-ray) to work on the PS3 to high definition 3D movies to play on the new line of PS3 TV with existing equipment. 3D wins certainly some interest from manufacturers and you wonder if a standard will be met and the popularity it will be this time.
