This September Sony Ericsson launched the T715, a stylish-looking sliding phone with emphasis on web interactivity. We’ve played with the T715 for a few months as both a standard mobile phone and as a web browser.
I lent the T715 to my wife and suggested the following tasks to test the phone’s usability and features:
Do as much as she usually does online from a computer but using the T715 if possible
Here are her comments:
I found theT715 quite attractive and easy to use although I had some initial frustration getting a reliable connection and download speed.
I was unable to set up a Twitter account so I did this from a computer and then was able to access it from the phone without any problems. The TwentertainMe service was great as it offers links to the best of the web and all the buzz that’s going on right now.
Twitter is probably the best use you can make of this phone (apart from making phone calls, of-course!)
The T715 also offers a good selection of messaging options:
Facebook
E-mail
Messanger
Twitter
And it also has some good games installed.
The Camera is 3.2 MP but doesn’t have auto-focus.
Overall there is nothing spectacular about the T715 but its a good phone to have if you have to social network on the move all day long.
