| Sony HDR-CX505VE Digital Camcorder Posted: 20 Jan 2010 02:35 PM PST The CX505VE is clearly not intended for enthusiasts, but it has some features that are useful for the author of more discerning video. Sony flash memory based camcorders have been very impressed with the HDR-CX105E be our current model of choice if you only € 400 to spend. But Sony also offers high-end models that record to flash memory. Near the top of the range is the HDR-CX505VE. With a sensor as the HDR-X520, it promises high performance video quality but in a more compact form.It is very slow in operation, so you will not be able to do any focusing effects of fire. But it is much more accurate than a menu-based controls can not provide specific details, where the automatic system could focus on the wrong object. Like the X520, the CX505VE is built around a CMOS sensor 1/2.9in with a gross of 6.6 megapixels. It incorporates Sony’s Exmor technology R, placing the sensor wiring behind the pixels, the light is no longer allowed in. In the past we have found this effective system, providing better efficiency at low brightness than would normally be expected given the size of the sensor. The number of pixels high is interpolated to provide 12 megapixels as well. The main video format is AVCHD Full HD, with data rates up to 16Mbits/sec, not 24Mbits/sec now available from JVC and Canon. But you can also shoot in SD quality if necessary. There are 32 GB of flash memory onboard, which will be sufficient for about 4.5 hours of footage with the adjustment of high quality – more than enough for most holidays or events. | T-Mobile myTouch 3G v1.2 Revamped Handset Phone Posted: 20 Jan 2010 02:35 AM PST The report from BGR, the device will be available from February 10th over in the United States. No press release has been revealed yet, so we do not know the complete list of changes between the two models, even if the rumors are suggesting that the new version will be equipped with more onboard memory and more high-capacity microSD card.
We have some good news for fans of the T-Mobile myTouch 3G handsets, as we can confirm that the company will publish a new updated version of their device in early February. The handset is considered as very similar to the original, except that a 3.5mm jack will be included this time.
