Denon AVR-4310 – 7.1 Channel AV Dynamic Surround

Posted: 04 Jan 2010 02:37 AM PST

The AVR-4310 is seated two bars across the AVR-2310, which appealed to us in August with its features and performance abundant killer. Since then, the Onkyo TX-NR807 has set the bar even higher, which means that this high-end Denon earned his length to justify a price that is almost twice that Onkyo.

But a look at the features list, we do not think we can fail to be impressed. One of the highlights is Audyssey Dynamic Surround Expansion (DSX), we first encountered on the Onkyo TX-NR807, but the AVR-4310 was actually the first in the world amplifiers offer.

The idea behind DSX is to create a fuller, more immersive sound before. Put an extra pair of “broad front” speakers next to the pair before regular and this technology will fill them with two new channels from 5.1-7.1-sources and channels. And like Dolby Pro Logic IIZ, who is also on you offer here, it will even create channels high before, or you can use the additional channels and more familiar surround back configuration. Archos 5 Internet Tablet

However, a couple of months and many updates to the latest firmware, the ARCHOS 5 Internet Tablet is finally a device that is worthy of its specification. As it stands, I can honestly say that it is a very impressive Personal Media Player with a set of features that other machines can only dream.

Archos 5 Internet Tablet

Unfortunately, the early teething problems that I experienced with the Internet Tablet Archos 5 is not unusual for the brand, so I chose to wait a bit before tackling the exam. Looking at the big picture, but when the review is still current, it was more logical to give you an idea of what this machine was really capable of. That aside, Archos as a society really need to start shipping products that are stable and usable from day one, rather than let the early adopters to perform duties of quality assurance!

Looking at the material, it is clear that this is a serious portable media player. There was a time when the Archos devices are all about features, with a design as an afterthought seem distant, but the Archos 5 Internet Tablet looks fantastic and feels good in hand too. The unit is dominated by the 4.8in screen, which is a real beauty – the colors are rich and vibrant, while blacks are surprisingly deep, make a machine truly excellent film. Add to that the excellent viewing angle, and the Archos 5 Internet Tablet can happily entertain more than one person. [via trustedreviews]
