Posted: 25 Jan 2010 07:57 PM PST HTC unveils the HTC Smart, a new type of smartphone with operating environment on the HTC Smart is called “HTC Sense”. The HTC Smart handset enables personal customization of each person’s own phone experience. The HTC Smart has a 2.8-inch with 240×320 pixel touchscreen display, a 3 megapixel fixed-focus camera with flash, 3.5G support, Bluetooth and microSD expandable memory. There’s also a multimedia player that can cope with AAC, MP3 and WMA audio plus a 3.5mm audio socket. HTC Smart smartphone utilizes Qualcomm’s Brew MP, a popular mobile operating system that enables smartphone devices to be offered. The internal processor is not specified, but it runs at 300 MHz and is most likely some sort of Qualcomm-based ARM unit. |
Samsung Shark 2 S5550 Slider Phone Posted: 25 Jan 2010 04:22 PM PST Samsung introduced a new line of lower mid-range handsets the Samsung Shark 2 S5550 packs a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus, 3.5G support plus the social networking features. The Shark 2 is the best spec handset of the newly announced carnivorous bunch but shares the aircraft-inspired design with the others.
