Crucial 4GB DDR3-1333 Memory Modules Hardware Posted: 04 Dec 2009 05:00 PM PST If you are looking for the perfect accompaniment to your i5/i7 May Core installation you want to check Crucial DDR3 4GB new-1333 memory modules. These memory modules will also be a perfect choice of memory if you have a configuration AM3, the main advantage offered by these modules is a configuration of 16 GB with only 4 DIMM slots. To use the 16 GB of RAM you will need to use a 64 bit operating system, I personally think that 16 GB of RAM is somewhat exaggerated, even for high-end systems, but I am sure as there are users out there who will be ideal for this. Packard Bell EasyNote TJ65-AU-031UK Notebook Posted: 04 Dec 2009 02:02 PM PST Physically, this notebook is quite similar, as might be expected given it’s part of the same series TJ65. This means that you get the honey comb pattern signature piano black lid, which she likes, unfortunately, fingerprints and dust, as well as most phones on glossy paper. While not a bad machine by any stretch, we were not too impressed by the latest Packard Bell (PB) machine we’ve reviewed, the TJ65 Easynote-AU-010UK. Let’s find out if the Acer subsidiary can convince us this time with its high-specced EasyNote TJ65-AU-031UK. The prominent hinge, which is visible with the TJ65 open or closed, looking a little thank you for the cheap paint job for money. It is unfortunate too, because otherwise this notebook is quite attractive once opened, bringing a touch of gloss control sensitive area under the hinge with an isolation-type keyboard and a beautiful soft matte finish for Palm-rest and touchpad. Construction quality is too good overall. Fortunately, the backlit touch-red controls work as well as before and there is a nice selection on hand, but like all the reflective surfaces will need regular cleaning. Launch Manager is one of the most practical additions because it allows you to launch any application with a touch of “button” marked P. also useful for less experienced users is the Backup button, which gives access to specific software MyBackup PB. Next is a wireless switch ‘, followed by a button that disables the touchpad and finally the volume controls inevitable. Our only niggle here is that this would be much more sensible to have the touchpad-disable button near the touchpad real than on specific machines Acer brand such as storyboards Aspire 4810T. However, this is not really a major problem because, thanks to its positioning off-center touchpad never interfere with typing. Speaking of typing, as with the previous TJ65 keyboard is really excellent. Layout is Spot-On, including a full number pad. There are a number of intelligent shortcuts, such as brightness and volume in duplicate using the cursor keys. Feedback for large, keys Matt is also good, with the only exception being that the space bar felt a little bit loose this time. [via trustedreviews]

Sony PSP Minis Coming PS3 Games Posted: 04 Dec 2009 11:00 AM PST Some good news for PSP fans Minis, because there were rumors that the service could make its way to the PlayStation 3, as earlier than expected – before the land of Christmas actually. According to the report from VG247, the rumors come from a reliable source close to Joystiq, who picked up on the news earlier today. If the rumors are true, it means that the complete collection of Minis will be available for download and play on your PS3. It might be something very strange to see all these games enhanced with a much higher resolution – what do you think?. [via product-reviews] a |

ViewSonic VCP08 Windows XP Clamshell Smartphone Posted: 03 Dec 2009 07:02 PM PST The ViewSonic VCP08 was first spotted last month, but only as rendered images. Pocketables managed to find some pictures of the real phone that shows it is running Windows XP. The VCP08 is a clamshell phone has two screens with the first outer screen is 2 inches and an internal screen for XP measuring 4.3 inches. In addition to the big screen inside the camera also features a full QWERTY keyboard with a mouse finger. With it having a couple of screens of the device is not small making phones like the Nokia N97 look small, if you really need to weigh if you really need a Windows XP in your pocket . The phone is auto running an Intel Atom 800 MHz and 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of storage with expansion available through MicroSD cards. A major problem that I see already with this camera that has a 1200mAh battery that will surely see the device needs a refill at least once a day, except once or twice if you need to use. One thing that might help, it is the UMPC that side of the phone can be closed if needed for just the phone function. [via gadgetvenue] a |
