Philips 47PFL9664 47 Inch Larger Screen LCD TV Posted: 02 Dec 2009 05:35 PM PST To say I was impressed by most of the latest range of Philips TV would be an understatement. Except for the 42PFL8404 uncomfortably positioned, I loved everything that the brand was launched on me recently. So you’ll forgive me if I confess to feeling a tingle of excitement today with the arrival of larger screen I saw the new range Philips 47PFL9664 the 47in. Hopefully the extra screen real estate the 47PFL9664 will only strengthen my largely positive impressions of the latest engine from Philips’ image. Before turning to this, however, I have to salivate. For the 47PFL9664 is really damn easy on the eye. The first thing you notice the tone is strikingly original and two gray-arrival of the gorgeously well built – from aluminum, no less bezel. Then it hits you the thinness of the bezel is both front and side, since the set is only 50mm deep point is fatter. As with the EU has recently reviewed Samsung-55B7020, such as slimming attached to such a large screen only adds to the innate sense of technology “cool” that all seem really thin televisions emit. Switching the TV introduces another key design element, too: Ambilight. Philips was unable to shake this feature of the mark in his first TV Slimline, 42PES001 the “essence”, so it’s really nice to see familiar pools to spread the light colored side of the 47PFL9664’s. Especially since the local accuracy of the colors from the color content of the image is even more disturbing than it was on the Ambilight televisions last year. a |

Sony FVA-U1 USB Finger Vein Authentication Device Cool Gadgets Posted: 02 Dec 2009 05:23 AM PST Sony will be deployed in Japan, the FVA-U1, a peripheral vein finger USB-based authentication technology mofiria Company. According to Sony, the FVA-U1 is the world’s lightest and smallest finger vein authentication device. Thank you to mofiria technology, the device offers a fast response, high accuracy and comes in a compact size for mounting on mobile devices such as netbooks, laptops or mobile phones. Sony’s “mofiria” uses a CMOS sensor captures the light scattered diagonally inside the veins of the finger, which makes possible an implementation plan. Tracing the veins is extracted from the captured image of the finger veins, and model data is compressed in size to one tenth store in memory, making it possible for the data to be stored on a mobile device. Compared with other biometric authentication techniques, the vein authentication technology achieves greater accuracy on the personal identification and false resistance because it uses the veins inside the human body. Finger vein patterns differ from person to person, each finger to finger, and he says they do not change over the years. [via itechnews] a |
Olympus FE-5020 Digital Compact Camera Posted: 02 Dec 2009 02:23 AM PST The Olympus FE-5020 digital camera has a compact size and light weight, making it a perfect combination to carry with you anytime. The device resembles a mobile phone with songs. This is caused by the optical zoom which needs a little more space to fit in the slot 5x. And it is precisely the main difference between a compact camera and a mobile phone: no optical zoom. A simple and straightforward is a must for a compact camera like the Olympus FE-5020, no fuss, no need to consult a manual. In this regard, Olympus has taken a good look around and apply different ways of menus and graphic symbols, keeping the camera as easily accessible as possible. It really starts with the home screen, where everything is done to show a composition that is as transparent as possible, without too much information on the monitor. By pressing DISP, you can also opt for no icons on the screen at all, or you can choose to display a grid to help you keep horizontal lines in your composition. We used FE5020 Olympus compact digital camera in detail in practice, and also had the camera technically fully tested in the laboratory DIWA managed by Kai Thon, Test Manager within the organization DIWA Awards. The data obtained from the testing techniques in combination with its use in practice leads to a definitive conclusion impartial. You can read our experiences in the Olympus FE-5020 after examination. [via letsgodigital] a |
