| Microsoft Working on Windows Mobile 6.5.1 already Posted: 21 Oct 2009 05:38 AM PDT Recently Microsoft released Windows Mobile 6.5 on October 6th but now they are already working on a update 6.5.1.What this has to offer.Windows Mobile 6.5.1 will bring several significant improvements, including a rewritten, finger-friendly contact application, According to Download Squad. In addition, the Start menu and close buttons will move to the bottom toolbar–this way the fixed top toolbar can be thinner.Microsoft is also adding several UI elements, including buttons and check boxes with a visual refresh that will hopefully address how most of the OS still looks like it’s from 2002. No word yet on a release date, though the report said that some illegal copies of the build for certain handsets are already floating around in the Intertubes.So i am waiting for this will offer new features.What about you ? |

| Fix Stop 0×000000A0 Internal_Power_Error When Windows 7 Hibernates Posted: 20 Oct 2009 08:11 PM PDT In many cases you might be in a situation that you have loads of apps and browsers open and you don’t want to close them all and open it again the next time you login, so what you would do is use hibernate in Windows 7.But in most of the cases when attempting to hibernate the computer on a Windows 7 system or let computer enters hibernation mode, the operating system may stop halt with a Blue Screen of Death (BSoD) the following error message as technical information: STOP 0×000000A0 INTERNAL_POWER_ERROR (0×0000000B, 0xXXXXXXXX, 0xXXXXXXXX, 0xXXXXXXXX
what does this mean ? This means to say that there is a problem in the hibernation file i.e hiberfil.sys as it is not big enough to save and store the current contents loading in the system RAM or memory.Windows 7, and other Windows operating system, requires equal size of hiberfil.sys hibernation cache file with system RAM memory size in order to work properly. Thus, in order to fix and solve the above issue, just set a bigger size of hiberfile with the following steps: Open a command prompt window with elevated administrator privileges. Type the following command and press ENTER: powercfg /hibernate /size 100 Above command will set the new hiberfil.sys hibernation file to a size which is the same with 100% of total system memory available. What does this mean ?
