Unlock iPhone 3GS 3.1 with Ultrasn0w Posted: 04 Oct 2009 11:41 PM PDT Recently i had posted about how to download Pwnage Tool 3.1.3 for iPhone 3GS and iPod 2G which allows you to jailbreak your 3 GS 3.1 OS and also ipod touch 2g 3.1 firmware.But the problem with that was, it was only working for Mac OS and Windows users couldn’t jailbreak.But in case you find a custom iphone 3G ipsw then you could jailbreak iphone 3gs 3.1.Here is a quick workaround how to unlock iPhone 3GS 3.1 OS with ultrasn0w. Golden Rule to remember: You must first jailbreak iPhone 3GS first with pwnagetool 3.1.3 and then go for a unlock using this method. Steps to Unlock iPhone 3GS 3.1.3 OS with Ultrasn0w First step is to install Cydia when you jailbreak iPhone 3GS 3.1. Next Launch Cydia/ Icy. Select ‘Manage’ Tab at the bottom of screen and go to ‘Sources. Press edit button and Add following Repo URL http://repo666.ultrasn0w.com/ Once the source has been added press the large ‘Return to Cydia’ button. Go to repo666.ultrasn0w.com from the list of user entered sources and select ‘Ultrasn0w’ from list. Go to repo666.ultrasn0w.com from the list of user entered sources and select ‘Ultrasn0w’ from list. Now press the Home button then power off and power on the iPhone. You do this by holding down the power button for 3 seconds then moving the power slider that appears to the right. Press the power button again to turn on the phone. Done,Now insert SIM card of your choice. Go ahead and unlock your iPhone 3G S now.
