Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard

Posted: 24 Oct 2009 06:20 AM PDT

Now, Windows 7 is out and a gentle ripple of polite applause (nothing too harsh and thank you), we can finally return to what the company is “obviously” better known for: devices! We reviewed many Microsoft keyboards over the years, but the Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000 is the thinnest keyboard company yet. Yes, this is not a particularly interesting claim to fame, but if you need a keyboard, compact laptop that could be the answer.

Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard

This is not a particularly low response of the mind. Most online retailers do not stock immediately, but the pre-order price ranges from £ 42 to £ 55.99, we have listed on Play. One way out there in the Land of Make Believe is Ebuyer, WHO has pre-orders at a staggering 110 pounds and a scheduled delivery date is November 30! This suggests that possession of this set might be easier said than done.

Nevertheless, we have here and a nice game it is too. Some of its considerable costs can be explained by the presence of a separate numeric keypad (requiring two transmitters integrated Bluetooth). It can be used with the keyboard or independently and even comes with its own tissue rather intelligent transportation flexibility. This, coupled with the already compact dimensions (the keyboard itself is just 355mm wide, 167mm deep and is slightly thicker than a AAA battery), means the keyboard Mobile 6000 meets the “criteria” Mobile extremely well.

There is no shortage of style whatsoever. Being so thin obviously helps here, but the combination of a white plastic, black plastic soft touch and a strip of glossy paper thin along the top has an elegant simplicity. All these materials are very durable and together build quality is excellent too. Being based on Bluetooth, this set does not come with a dongle and the separate limited to PCs and laptops (most likely the latter) who have integrated. It has a perfect sense (what good is a portable keyboard if you then lose the key when you need it?), But if you do not have Bluetooth you can just buy a dongle yourself. [via trustedreviews]
