Sony PSPgo Pocketable Machine Games Posted: 11 Oct 2009 05:17 AM PDT If the PS3 Slim Sony had tried to restart the PS3 and regain lost ground in the home console market, then PSPgo is the same for the PSP. Despite PSP sales to about 53 million, the last four years has been irritating to the house of PlayStation. The PSP never became “the next iPod ‘like so many commentators thought he would, and UMD disc failed to take off as a format for next-generation media. Instead, it is strange to Nintendo DS unsightly who captured the public imagination, than the PSP by almost 2 to 1. Worse, the Apple iPhone/iPod touch came from nowhere to become a portable video game third and Media Platform - which probably occupy the position of “all-in-One” mobile entertainment device that Sony wanted desperately PSP to recover. The PSPgo is the best hope for Sony to remedy this situation and put the PSP back into the game. As a physical redesign, the PSPgo has tremendous advantages. The first and most obvious thing that Sony did was run like a slider phone. When the device is off or you’re just watching a movie or listening to music, the controls are covered by the screen and the camera fits comfortably in one hand. Then, when you love a game, you slide the screen upwards to reveal the D-pad, analog stick and face buttons. The mechanism feels very solid, and this change has advantages. On the one hand, it makes it easier PSPgo handheld gaming machine - about 3mm shorter, 5 mm thinner and a whopping 47.4mm narrower than the old PSP3000 and 29g lighter too. As a digital music player have become smaller, even the PSP Slim was beginning to feel like a big and heavy enough Media Player, and it will bring PSPgo directly on the iPhone/iPod touch territory.
