Apple Store TomTom iPhone Car Kit Gadgets Posted: 10 Oct 2009 12:00 PM PDT Just a few weeks ago we reported that the iPhone car kit TomTom is ready for pre-order in what appeared to be a good price of £ 100 including TomTom. Shortly after various websites mentioned, he pulled out of the Apple product line stating that the £ 100 was just for the car kit and software have been purchased separately. Today we learn that Apple added new iPhone car kit on the British site, but this time they correctly price of £ 100 for the kit car alone. A warning was also added to the bank said … “The TomTom application for the iPhone is not included with this car kit TomTom. Quay Car Kit is compatible with all iPhone models, but the App TomTom 3GS only works with iPhone and iPhone 3G.” The TomTom Car Kit iPhone will be available in the next couple of weeks, then go ahead and order now if you prefer to eat one yourself. Although it looks like a fantastic car kit I can not help thinking that this is a bit on the expensive side. [via gadgetvenue] a |

3 MiFi Huawei E5830 Broadband Connection Posted: 10 Oct 2009 02:30 AM PDT The advantage is that unlike a standard USB modem, you can connect multiple devices to the same time to share the connection. This is handy to have around the house to share broadband with, for example, users of a couple of laptops and an iPod Touch or business could use it to develop quickly a Wi-Fi at a yard outside. In fact, the more we think, more useful it seems. Moreover, the small size of Mifi’s means it is very easy to carry. It is around two thirds the size of an ordinary mobile phone (if there is such a thing these days) and is also extremely lightweight of only 90g, so you can easily stuff in a laptop bag without worry that it overwhelms you. The whole body of the device is made of plastic, while the lower half of the front is finished with aluminum paint job. The back cover is off white to reveal the removable 1500mAh battery and below is the owner of your mobile broadband SIM. Mifi The controls are extremely simple since it involves actually three buttons mounted on the right side. They are used to switch on, start and stop the broadband connection and switch the Wi-Fi on and off. There is also a microSD slot on the left which acts as a card reader when connected to a PC via mini-USB port on the back of the camera (which also serves as the charging port).
