| List of soon to be released Direct X 11 games for Windows 7/Vista Posted: 21 Sep 2009 06:22 PM PDT Gamer freaks will be excited to hear this news.Why is that ? Coz DirectX 11 the next-gen in graphics and multimedia will sweep you off your feet.Between the war of the two graphic lords, ATi seems to have a edge over Nvidia as they already have the Direct X 11 based cards codenamed Evergreen GPU and had also demonstrated it’s awesomeness.They will feature a new technology named ATI Eyefinity which have massive resolutions that transforms the relationship of the PC and the display. ATI presents the “Evergreen” GPU which is based on the 40nm manufacturing technology capable of delivering 11,520 x 4,800 – 55.3 megapixels on 24 screens with four cards using crossfire in a single PC, a single Evergreen card can power upto six screens at any given time, you can use them as a large single display or make them to act as different units like your very own control room using the ATI control center.
From what i have read and believe it to be true the first Direct X 11 game would be Dirt 2 which would be released in December or so.Below are the list of the upcoming games that would support DirectX 11 for Windows 7 as well as Vista. DirectX 11 Support games:
