| Remove infected Autorun.inf from USB Drives Posted: 08 Sep 2009 04:28 PM PDT In this Geek world, every one uses thumb drives or flash drives for some purpose or the other, either to copy some data or to transfer files with your friend’s hard disk or something of that sort.Now if you transfer files from the net then you are in the risk of getting viruses and spy wares and most common virus which infects pen drives is the Autorun.inf virus.This happens when you double click your drive and the virus gets loaded into your pc.What you do is you scan your drive with a anti virus solution and try to heal the virus,but what you find it doesn’t clean and your pc is still infected. One solution to this is a App name “Autorun Eater” .This is a tool to remove suspicious Autorun.inf file in the root of your flash drive.It can fix disabled Registry or Folder options or Task Manager too.
