| Nokia 97 Mini – Lifecasting with Ovi Posted: 03 Sep 2009 05:20 PM PDT After a series of geeky gadgets by Nokia, here comes one more to the list namely Nokia N97 Mini.It is powered by a new Ovi Maps experience which makes searching, finding and navigating easier,It measures 113 x 52.5 x 14.2mm in size,weighs in around 138 grams and features a awesome 5 megapixel Carl Zeiss camera with dual LED flash, tilting 3.2-inch (640 x 360 pixels) touch display with fully customizable homescreen,full QWERTY keyboard,A-GPS,8GB internal memory and more storage space for more.
"People want to bring their physical and online worlds together via the internet. The Nokia N97 mini is designed for this new social internet and to help navigate people and places," said Jonas Geust, Vice President of Nokia Nseries. "With lifecasting, the Nokia N97 mini and Ovi usher in the next chapter of personal and location-aware internet." According to Nokia, Lifecasting with Ovi application allows users to publish their location and status updates directly to their Facebook account from the home screen of Nokia N97 Mini, aiming to provide users a truly personal Internet experience. | Nokia X6 and Nokia X3 Music phones revealed Posted: 03 Sep 2009 05:01 PM PDT If you are a music lover then you will definitely love this news.Nokia has announced the availability of its new powerful entertainment device for music lovers – Nokia X6, which incorporates a 3.2-inch 16:9 touchscreen display,5MP camera with Carl Zeiss lens and dual LED flash, A-GPS, 32GB internal memory, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth, capable of playing up to 35 hours of music or up to 4 hours of video playback.The Nokia X6 comes powered with Symbian S60 5th edition OS and its a full fledged touchscreen phone.
According to Nokia,”With direct access to Ovi Store, the Nokia X6 is a hive of activity that brings 20 friends and virtual communities, like Facebook,to your homescreen.The Nokia X6 Comes With Music is a powerful combination, enabling music fans to download all the music they could ever want – quickly, easily and for free,said Jo Harlow, Vice President of Nokia. In addition to Nokia X6, the sleek and compact Nokia X3 slider phone which the mobile giant claims as the first Series 40 Ovi Store-enabled device also joins Nokia's music family, featuring 2.2-inch QVGA screen, 3.2 megapixel camera, FM radio and stereo speakers, supporting up to 7.5 hours of talk time or up to 36 hours of music playback on a single charge.

The world’s largest software maker has partnered with House Party, apparently the world’s leading party organizer, to encourage technology enthusiasts to throw Windows 7 launch parties in their communities between October 22 and October 29.
If you’re interested in becoming an official host, there’s an application process you’ll have to go through over at houseparty.com/windows7. Furthermore, the offer is only open to residents of 12 countries: Australia, Italy, Canada, Japan, Mexico, France, Spain, Germany, the US, Hong Kong, the UK, and India. If you’re selected as a host, you’ll receive a special Signature Edition of Windows 7 Ultimate. You’ll also get a Windows 7 Party Pack (contents currently unknown) to share with your guests, based on one out of four themes that you choose from: PhotoPalooza, Media Mania, Setting up with Ease, or Family Friendly Fun. US residents will also be entered for a chance to win a $750 mini-notebook computer. A total of 64 winners will be notified once all the parties are over (after October 30, 2009). The first step of the application process is simple: you have to tell Microsoft about yourself, how the company can contact you, where to send the Party Pack, and finally pick a screen name and password (for checking the status of your application).
