Alltel has announced a new mobile phone in their portfolio reports Cnet, and it’s Freeform Samsung mobile phone.

The freeform Samsung mobile phone is a messaging device that has a factor of slate style form with a color screen 2.2 inch, Bluetooth, MMS, predictive text, music player, and GPS, speakerphone, and microSD expansion up to 16GB.

The freeform Samsung mobile phone is available in burgundy or teal Alltel and commands a price of $ 199.99 with no commitment or $ 69.99 on a 1 year contract and mail-in rebate of $ 50. [via phonesreview]

Nikon D300 Digital SLR Camera

We heard this morning that Nikon is now abandoning the Nikon D300 digital SLR has been a great camera since its launch. The Nikon D300 has recently been replaced by the D300. The D300 was a bit late in those days because it could not do video, but the feelings are mixed on digital SLR cameras that require the video anyway.

The D300 was launched in August 2007 and now it is not built nor we could see lower prices for the device while the stock is finally depleted. If you still want one of these great cameras so it may be worth checking Amazon to see if they have good deals on it.

A quick check on Amazon are still showing up in stock and it will probably be next week, a few weeks or perhaps months depending on what stock they hold. [via gadgetvenue]

Packard Bell Onetwo L All-In-One PC

Packard Bell presents at the IFA 2009, the onetwo Onetwo M and L all-in-one PC. The M Onetwo gets 20-inch 1600 × 900 display while onetwo L has a 23-inch 1920 × 1080p HD screen, both with touchscreen functionality.

Both Packard Bell All-in-One is enhanced by an Intel processor and either board or a dedicated graphics. They both have a 5-in-1 card reader, a webcam, and six USB ports. At roughly Onetwo L pack Intel Core 2 Duo, ATI Mobility Radeon 4670 with 1GB of video RAM, an optional Blu-ray and optional analog hybrid TV tuner / digital. Onetwo L also includes an eSATA port and 5.1-channel surround sound through Integrated 5W stereo speaker system.

The PC runs the latest Windows 7 OS with TouchPortal Packard Bell and TouchGadgets. The Onetwo Onetwo M and L will be available October 22 for 599 euros and 999 euros respectively. [via itechnews]

Sony PSP 6.00 Firmware Games

Sony has released updated firmware and PSP 6.00 is now available for download. The new firmware 6.00 can be downloaded in the usual manner by accessing the Update icon on the XMB network.

New features on the updated firmware PSP include the ability to group sets of records according to their expiration date. To be honest, there are not too excited about the place, just reread the list below.

The playing time based licensing might worry some people. Video rental store can be configured to expire, but the games do not follow this model yet. Perhaps a rental system of 24/48 hours of play could be built. Perhaps the 6.0 firmware is planning this move? [via gadgetvenue]

Asus announced the new N61 and N71 multimedia phones that come with the Asus SonicMaster design for the distribution of the unmatched sound reproduction. Both models are equipped with speakers and Altec Lansing SRS Premium Sound.

Stimulated by the Intel Core 2 Duo or Core 2 Quad, the N61 and N71 will be NVIDIA GeForce GT240M or GT220M with 1 GB of video memory and the CUDA technology. They have up to 4 GB of RAM, up to two hard drives of 500 GB 7200 rpm, a DVD or Blu-ray DVD combo.

Asus N61 has a 16-inch 1366 × 768 and the N71 has a 17.3 inch 1600 × 900 LCD, both with backlight LEDs. They will run Windows 7. The design SonicMaster has a dedicated structure that provides space resonance layers of sound reproduction for clear, crisp and Crystal Audio. This is achieved using a paper cone foam design that significantly improves sound quality through sound different ranges, which allows users to hear each beat and rhythm playing.
