It was revealed that sales of laptops are increasing, thanks to back-to-school season we have entered. Following this, he could be a more perfect time for Apple to announce a fair price Internet Tablet.

Apple Tablet Notebook

As reported by Reuters, the demand for laptops in August in dollar terms increased by 40% compared to July, a 20% increase compared to last year. Further research by Retrevo Pulse reported that 58% of students spend less than $ 750 on their next laptop.

Apple would need to pay close attention to details like this, as if the tablet is to be a premium product price (as some expect), while struggling for May quart units in the holiday season. [via product-reviews]

The use of LED backlighting in the G Series translates to brilliant visuals that will not cause your eyes to dry up and feel tired after a long day at the office. In fact, it could potentially increase productivity in the workplace. Interestingly enough, both the G920WL and G922HDL will exhibit zero leakage light that paves the way for an ultra-high dynamic contrast ratio (DCR) of 5 million: 1. This near-infinite DCR would also mean super-intense blacks, brilliant whites, and Innumerable color variations, making sure it is able to handle just about anything ranging from fine text to graphs, charts, and tables with aplomb in razor-sharp definition to boot. The inclusion of BenQ’s patented Senseye 3 Human Vision Technology also brings to the work desk one-touch image optimization of richness, clarity, and depth using preset modes calibrated to specific applications.

There is no word on pricing, but we do know that these displays ought to have made their way across China, Europe and the Asia Pacific from the middle of last month onwards.BenQ is known for providing digital cameras that are affordable and work well enough for entry level and midrange, but they rarely venture into anything upscale. Several versions of the E series Walkman are offered including the 4GB model mentioned above, an 8GB model and 16GB model. Size wise, it measures 44 x 9.3 x 86.8 mm and weighs only 54g. The Walkman has a 2-inch screen that can display 240 x 320 pixels and is used to display photos, track details and video.Other features include an FM radio and a microphone for voice recording. The battery allows 30 hours of audio playback and while there are a few MP3 players that can squeeze more out of their battery, 30 hours is still very much acceptable.

On the right side of the Walkman buttons up and down volume can be known, and a Hold switch to prevent the buttons being hit when in your pocket. The underside of the aircraft is at home on the connector 3.5mm headset and the USB port and a microphone. By using a connector standard 3.5mm headset it allows any headphone to be met, which is handy. Most devices, I also used the volume buttons on the left of the device, so for me it took some adjusting to but it is certainly not a big problem. Adding the Hold switch manual is also useful to prevent CD skips while the MP3 player is in your pocket. The front of the Walkman has 7 buttons that include Home / Back, Power / Option, up, down, left, right and play / pause.

Sony E Series

The menu system on the E Series is very simple. When powered up, you are presented with a selection of 9 icons to choose what function you want to use. By using the directional control, you can navigate through the options to mix all tracks, turn on the FM radio to activate the voice recording, view photos, play music, play video, change settings, look through playlists and a “Now Playing” option to jump back to the track that is currently playing. The images of each menu is in the gallery below.
E Series SoundOverall, the sound quality was good. I have not noticed a few spots in the sample song I listened to what I think were more of a low quality MP3 rather than the fault of the MP3 player. Other tracks I heard were very well throughout several songs.

Although the unit has a small screen only 2 inches, it works really well. Text is clear to read, the menus are easy to navigate and it’s just the right size for the type of device it is. Considering he spent most of his time is in your pocket, then it is very ample. As a small player it is good work. I’m not too worried about myself on a small video screen and I am not sure if a 2 hour movie would be good to watch. But as a music player and an FM receiver, it is certainly a good option. The E Series Walkman is now available at Amazon in the UK costs £ 63.80. [via gadgetvenue]
