Nintendo DSi getting rejuvenated with Pink and White colors for the US Posted: 01 Sep 2009 10:30 AM PDT After just four and a half months, the Nintendo DSi line-up is getting rejuvenated with additional colors of Pink and White. April 5th launch colors available were Matte Blue and Matte Black. The Pink one appears to be the same as the one released in Japan. It comes to no surprise that Nintendo definitely has a knack for releasing additional colors for its highly popular portable gaming system. It has proven to be an effective way to kick up sales as they start to falter. Not that the DSi is not selling well… Why not make profits when you get the chance, right? Hopefully, the Blood Red and Lime Green Nintendo DSi will also be making their way Stateside soon. These White and Pink DSi’s are already available for pre-order via Amazon for $169.99. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs: Free SteelBook case at Best Buy (with pre-order) Posted: 01 Sep 2009 08:30 AM PDT Here’s something new for DVD and Blu-ray collectors: pre-order Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at BestBuy.com and get a free, snazzy looking SteelBook case which houses all three discs included in the Blu-ray release. Yes, you get the SteelBook case first (without any discs) and then get the Blu-ray or DVD edition in standard packaging when they are officially released. Should you decide to go with the DVD version of the film, there will be one empty disc hub because the DVD edition only spans across two discs. The Blu-ray edition of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be released earlier than the DVD edition. Blu-ray release date is pegged at October 6, 2009 while the DVD release is set for November 24, 2009. Disney is giving the Blu-ray edition a heads up to entice consumers to go high definition.
