Windows 7 Family Pack and Upgrade prices leaked Posted: 09 Jul 2009 03:21 PM PDT I am really tired of windows 7 builds getting leaked every few days and now the Family Pack and Anytime Upgrade prices have also been leaked.Last time also Amazon made the mistake with Vista in 2006 and now some retailers have posted Windows 7 Family Pack and Anytime Upgrade prices.Microsoft had apparently released a Family Pack that will include three Windows 7 Home Premium licenses for a discounted price. Ed Bott found some prices on the web including Expercom’s Listings which showed Windows 7 Family Pack/Home Premium Upgrade for $136.95.One more reseller named University IT Computer Sales, had the same item priced at $144.95.Bott also uncovered some Windows Anytime Upgrade packages from Expercom site:
Ed reports that although the companies are small but are reliable.Curiously, the one price missing is for Windows 7 Professional to Windows 7 Ultimate, which I expect to cost between $20 and $30.The Home Premium to Professional Anytime Upgrade product is also in the catalog at PC Nation for $92.55 and at PC Mall for $99.99. PC Mall also has the Starter-to-Home Premium Anytime Upgrade and the Home Premium-to-Ultimate package for $89.99 and $153.99, respectively. The PC Nation prices are $83.72 and $142.30, respectively. |
Hitman 5 game to be released by 2010 Posted: 09 Jul 2009 12:43 PM PDT One more sequel of the famous game Hitman series is going to be released somewhere in 2010.The name of the Hitman game is yet to be announced.Reports have started to surface that IO Interactive’s new Hitman game known only as Hitman 5, will be out next year and could arrive alongside a new Hitman film too. IO Interactive has promised that the movie and the film will not overlap at all and that gamers can look forward to playing with Agent 47 as they’ve always known him, not as he was reimagined for Hollywood. The Hitman film which was released in 2007 with Timothy Olyphant starring as the enigmatic 47. Despite being almost universally panned by critics the film has been quite successful for 20th Century Fox – grossing more than $100 million USD on a budget of just $30 million USD. “I can tell you that there is no way we will be basing a storyline for a new Hitman game on the story in a licensed movie,” a IO Interactive community manager said in a statement to Kotaku. “That’s just not how we work so you shouldn’t be concerned about that.”I just loved all the Hitman series games starting from Silent Assassin to Hitman Contracts to Blood Money.I am waiting for this eagerly to be out. |
