Watchmen: 5-Disc Ultimate Collector’s Edition (UCE), coming on December 2009 Posted: 10 Jul 2009 04:00 PM PDT When you’re into DVD and Blu-ray collecting, sometimes multiple releases by film companies just ticks you off, especially when they make double dips not even 6 months after the first release of the movie.
Watchmen runs 162 minutes on the theatrical cut, 186 minutes on the director’s cut and only-God-knows-how-long on the director’s cut with Tales of the Black Freighter integrated into it. The UCE will also include a new commentary along with more than 2 hours of bonus content/features. The flier was found, on their early copy of the Blu-ray release, by the guys over at TheHDRoom. No exact word on whether Watchmen: 5-Disc Ultimate Collector’s Edition (UCE) will also be available on standard definition DVD. You can go to Amazon to pre-order the ones that are going to be released on July 21st. Watchmen: 5-Disc Ultimate Collector’s Edition (UCE) will be released on December 2009, just in time to milk your holiday money-filled wallet. [via TheHDRoom] ![]() See also:

Seidio has developed a 1350mAh extended battery for the Palm Pre which retains the same size but increases capacity by around 18% (17.39% to be exact, everybody else is saying 20%). The included Palm Pre battery is only rated at 1150mAh.
You can order one directly from Seidio or wait until Amazon gets some in their inventory. Either way, it’s $44.95 but the Seidio Online Store charges at least $6 for shipping. First Command & Conquer 4 (C&C 4) screenshot comes out Posted: 10 Jul 2009 11:30 AM PDT Shown here is the first ever screenshot in full 720p glory, of Electronic Arts’ upcoming real-time technological strategy game for 2010, Command & Conquer 4 (C&C 4).
The game is set to be released sometime in 2010 and will feature long-time arch enemies Global Defense Initiative (GDI) and the Brotherhood of Nod working towards the same cause, to prevent the total annihilation of the human race as Tiberium continuously thrives to make planet earth uninhabitable. As usual, C&C 4 will feature 2 campaigns, one for GDI and one for Nod. Some interesting new stuff have been added, including a cooperative mode and a 5-on-5 multiplayer objective-based game. According to EA, C&C 4 will reveal the “epic conclusion to the Tiberium Saga.”
