T-Mobile delaying Wing II/HTC Touch Pro2 to make way for Android-based myTouch 3G? Posted: 06 Jul 2009 03:00 PM PDT T-Mobile USA subscribers yearning to get their hands on the HTC Touch Pro2 or Wing II will just have to wait a little longer. Originally, the T-Mobile Wing II was set for a July 22, 2009 release, but the Android-based myTouch 3G seems to have interfered with that. The T-Mobile Wing II is now scheduled for an August 12 release, which is 3 weeks later than was originally stated. The HTC Snap/T-Mobile Dash is still on track for a July 8 release. The QWERTY Windows Mobile-loaded messenger phone will cost $169.99 with a 2-year imprisonment tie-in with T-Mobile. Pre-order for the myTouch 3G starts on July 8, 2009. myTouch 3G release is on August 5. One week earlier than the Wing II! It seems like T-Mobile’s giving Google a head start! [via TmoNews] See also:
