Last June 23, Oracle announced their acquisition of GoldenGates but with no disclosed money/financial figure. GoldenGate Software is a private company providing real-time data integration and high availability solutions that empower IT organizations to deliver continuous access to real-time information. Oracle company is expected to close the deal later this year. [Follow bugITs in Twitter] [Add bugITs from PLURK] [Subscribe to bugITS - technology news and updates] To allow data to move between heterogeneous systems in real-time without any downtime, is what Oracle claimed to be their goal on this action they made. So far, Lots of GoldenGates products are already been integrated with Oracle Database, Oracle Fusion Middleware and other Oracle Applications, thus, implementing with these changes are not a bottleneck to the organization. And speaking of middleware --- Earlier this month, Oracle announced their latest version of middleware, Fusion Middleware 11g. |
