Run Google Talk in Firefox Sidebar

In most of the software companies they block chat messengers like yahoo, google talk etc.So you cannot access yahoo and gtalk,so what do you do ?:???:One solution for yahoo is Pidgin or Exodus or a online solution like meebo.com.For google talk i will give you the simplest solution.Follow some steps and you are ready to run them.

Steps to run Google talk:

  • Open Firefox, now bookmark the following URL -> (right-click and choose Bookmark this link) “http://talkgadget.google.com/talkgadget/client”  with out quotes.
  • Give a name for the book mark.
  • Now goto Bookmarks menu, navigate to the above bookmark, right click and choose Properties. Tick the checkbox that says Load this bookmark in the sidebar.
  • Go to View -> Sidebar and select bookmark name  and you just add Googletalk gadget, wallah now you sign in to Google talk within firefox.Cool isnt it.:grin:
