Amazon Kindle DX starts shipping on June 10, 2009 Posted: 01 Jun 2009 02:00 PM PDT The Amazon Kindle DX is slated for a June 10, 2009 release. That’s just a little over a week from now. So better start saving up $489. Pre-orders, of course, will ship first. Don’t forget that you can get a customized Amazon Kindle DX from the guys at ColorWare, starting at $199. Posted: 01 Jun 2009 12:20 PM PDT Gamers are probably wetting their pants all over with the announcement of the PSP Go. The new PSP looks extremely distant from the initial rumor. I, however, am not convinced that the sliding device is what Sony can come up with. Ditching the UMD drive is careless enough, I wonder what option they’d be giving to previous owners of the PSP in porting their UMD games? And even if they do give a viable option for UMD owners, they’d probably have to burn hours of their time in transferring or converting their games to be playable on the PSP Go. The purported PSP Go looks very much like Sony’s internet device, the Mylo 2. I would’ve thought that Sony would be more original in conceptualizing a new body for the PSP. The PSP Go will officially be introduced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2009 (or simply E3 2009). The device will feature 16GB of built-in memory, Bluetooth capability, a Memory Stick Micro Slot, a huge 3.8-inch screen and will have no UMD slot. The new PlayStation portable will reportedly be 40% lighter than the current PSP and will feature PlayStation 3 integrated along with PlayStation Network (PSN) support. [via Uncrate] Related posts:

Momitsu BDP-899 all-region Blu-ray player for $349 Posted: 31 May 2009 06:00 PM PDT Tired of being limited on your Blu-ray movie purchasing due to region locks? Behold the Momitsu BDP-899, the first all-region Blu-ray player! The Oppo BDP-83 might also be an all-region Blu-ray player but its availability is still prety much limited.
The only downside I can see with this Blu-ray player is if you require 7.1 or 5.1 analog audio outputs. The Momitsu BDP-899 only has analog stereo outputs. The Momitsu BDP-899 all-region Blu-ray player is attractively priced at $349.99 and is available from xPCgear. Thing is, are you willing to fork out that much cash for a brand that you hardly even know (or heard of)? [via Twitch] Related posts:
