Zune HD revealed and now coming in XBOX Posted: 27 May 2009 03:00 PM PDT We had some rumours about Zune HD coming to Xbox and now that news is come true.Microsoft today announced the evolution of Zune, the company's end-to-end music and entertainment service.Brian Seitz from Zuneinsider gave some interesting news about Zune HD. For those that have not had a chance to check it out yet,Zune HD is a portable media player from Microsoft which will feature a HD Radio receiver, HD video out capabilities, an OLED screen with multi touch, and an internet browser. Find HD Radio stations in your area by visting the HDradio site.The Zune HD appears to have a capacitance 16:9 OLED Touchscreen which appears to be greater than 3 inches. This comes powered by the NVIDIA Tegra which acts a fuel to its HD capabilities. The platform is believed to allow simultaneous playback of HD content, while still being able to drive and LCD display of 1280×1024 resolution, which can be noticed by the HDMI port on the left side. Zune will also be coming to the Xbox 360, taking over the existing video marketplace. Will Microsoft come against Apple is hard to tell but they certainly got right this time. Though no Apple device is HD capable yet but they might come up with the launch of new ipod devices.The Zune HD will be hitting the market later this year.
