Acer UK Marketing Director Bobby Watkins has quoted with Pocket-lint saying that Windows 7 will be release on October 23rd.Good news would be for Acer fanboys or any one willing to buy a Vista based Acer model 30 days before the release of Windows 7 will receive it for free.Acer has added that Windows 7 will be shipped with Acer Aspire Z5600 PC model. Rumours say that RTM might be out by September 09 so Windows 7 release by October 23rd makes sense.Microsoft is aiming for a holiday season 2009 release for Windows 7.Microsoft Senior Vice President Bill Veghte said
But the RTM will be out in 5 languages at first and then they will be out in something called waves which includes support for more languages.Can read more on Waves at WinSoftNews. So if u haven’t downloaded Windows 7 from MSDN/TechNet yet what are you waiting for go for it.Rest of users need to wait til May 5th. |
