| Bang & Olufsen BeoVision 4 — 103 inches of expensiveness Posted: 06 May 2009 10:58 AM PDT If you’re in the mood to be really extravagant Bang & Olufsen has just the product for you — the 103-inch BeoVision 4 - 130 HDTV. Available via special order the BeoVision 4 is now being sold in the US at a considerable discount to the European price — but that’s not saying much!
The BeoVision comes in a range of colours including black, silver, red, blue and dark grey and generous range of features. But B&O doesn’t seem to have been following the latest trends in technology. It’s based on a huge HD 1920 x 1080 resolution plasma panel. Forget the fact that plasmas are heavy, blurry and just generally old hat. Let’s just make a big one and stick a six figure price tag on it! There’s a choice of mounting options: Either get some heavy-weight brackets (it had better be a heavy-weight wall!) and fix the TV to the wall or use an optional motorized stand that allows you to adjust the height of the panel from the comfort of your sofa. B&O says:
The remote will also drop the built-in centre speaker to directly beneath the screen. You can see the BeoVision 4 in action in the movie below: The BeoVision 4 - 103 will be available in July for $111,805 with the motorized stand and $93,050 without. This story on other sites
