| Sony Alpha DSLR Digital Camera Posted: 19 May 2009 03:05 PM PDT On Friday, details of 3 new Sony Alpha cameras were disclosed. The cameras are set at the entrance of the cameras that are updates of previous models. They are numbered from the A230, A330 and A380, which will replace the A200, A300 and A350 Alpha line of cameras.
Sony describes the new camera as a step up from point and take cameras into the world of digital SLRs. As well as 3 new devices being launched, Sony has also launched 4 new lenses, a flash and a accersories. “Our new Alpha cameras, lenses and accessories to make it easier for new users to get great photos, they expect, without a learning curve that digital SLRs have always needed, “said Kristen Elder, Senior Director of alpha to Sony Electronics Inc Overcoming obstacles, we have made it much easier for newcomers to take pictures with digital SLR large”. The A230 has a 10.2 megapixel sensor and is the lightest and most compact Alpha body and weighs only 15.9 ounces. The A330 also has a 10.2 megapixel sensor while the A380 has a 14.2 megapixel sensor. 2 These two devices are also smaller and lighter than their previous models. The cameras feature SteadyShot INSIDE (TM) is a unit of stabilization built into the device rather than the lens as other brands. This allows any camera to the mounting system attached and to benefit from stabilization. Quick AF Live View has been added to page 2 models (A380 and A330) and rapid autofocus is also included. Live View works with a dedicated sensor to collect the image to display on the screen. This allows a rapid response from the device due to stress delays being reduced. All devices have a 2.7-inch Clear Photo LCD screen visible in direct sunlight. The A380 and A330 models have a switch from screen to help you frame the subject from sites higher or lower and more difficult angle shots.
