| Nokia announces the E52, boasts 8 hours of talk time and 23 days of standby time Posted: 06 May 2009 05:15 AM PDT The latest Nokia E-series slim-line candybar phone, the Nokia E52, has some surprising improvements over its younger brother, the Nokia E51.
The Nokia E52 apparently is able to handle 8 hours of talk time and 23 days of standby time. It retains pretty much everything that the Nokia E51 is known for, slim body, candybar form factor with a simple yet sleek-looking keypad layout. It also features A-GPS and a 3.2 megapixel camera. The Nokia E52 reportedly supports HSDPA download speeds of up to 10.2Mb per second and HSUPA upload speeds of up to 2Mb per second. The microSD slot is able to accomodate up to 16GB memory cards and includes a 1GB card in the package to start you off (memory card size may vary depending on region). For the sake of comparison, the Nokia E52 predecessor, the Nokia E51, only boasts a talk time of 4 hours and 20 minutes and a standby time of almost 13 days. The Nokia E52 beats both talk time and standby time by almost twice as much! The Nokia E52 is expected to retail at around €245 or approximately $325 USD, and is slated for release sometime during the second half of 2009. The handset will be available in Metal Grey Aluminum or Golden Aluminum. For more photos of the Nokia E52, click here. [via Nokia Conversations] Related posts:
