Amazon Kindle DX: Giant Reader Posted: 06 May 2009 11:01 PM PDT While I am still in the stage of dreaming to have Kindle 2.0, now, Amazon has introduced its Kindle DX, a bigger and wider version of Kindle 2.0 Kindle DX is very slim with its 1/3 of an inch. It looks similarly like the 6 inch version which is priced $359. The gadget has its new feature, it has the capability of rotating between protrait and landscape mode automatically based on how user hold the device (i believe one apple gadget has also this ability too :) ) So much for that, Kindle DX has a long battery life and the device is worth $489 and if you will purchase now, Amazon can ship it freely.
