Download Firefox 3.09 and Portable version Posted: 23 Apr 2009 05:41 AM PDT After the  previous update of Firefox to 3.08, now its gone further and updated to newer and stable version 3.09.This update fixes 67 bugs and enhancements.23 bugs were marked as "critical" or higher. These numbers are slightly inflated because they contain the ones already fixed in the 3.0.8 emergency update on March 27th. 9 potential security vulnerabilities were patched including 2 marked as "high" and 1 "critical" MSFA-2009-19 –Same-origin violations in XMLHttpRequest and XPCNativeWrapper.toString. MSFA-2009-17 –Same-origin violations when Adobe Flash loaded via view-source: scheme. MSFA-2009-14 — Crashes with evidence of memory corruption (critical) Existing Firefox users can go to Help-> Check for updates option and update to 3.09 version Download Firefox 3.09 and Portable version of Firefox 3.09 here.

Windows 7 RC finally completed,Build 7100 Posted: 23 Apr 2009 04:16 AM PDT So finally we hear some good news after a series of Builds getting leaked one after the other..Company Insiders and Wzor have confirmed that 7100 is the official Windows 7 RC Build.7100.0.winmain_win7rc.090421-1700 was compiled on Tuesday i.e 21st at 5.00 PM and has reportedly been handed out to OEM partners and TAP gold customers.So if this goes as per the schedule then we might get the RC on MSDN/TechNet by May 5th.Some reports say that 7115.0.winmain.090421-1650 is the latest build internally. Chinese site CnBeta gave some more info on it,but it was in Chinese so i needed to translate to English. According to them Windows 7 development tree after Build 7076 is divided into open , 70XX for the RC branch, RTM branch Skip directly 71XX, the final published version of the RC is Build 7100.In addition, the RTM version of the current branch known to have Build 7115, its complete version number for 7115.0.winmain.090421-1650.Thanks to Neowin Proposed schedule as of now RC (7100) would be coming out by May 09. RC2(7200) might come out by August 09. RTM(7300) would be available by September 09. Public Release Jan 2010.
