| Windows 7 RC to be out to MSDN/TechNet public release on May 5 Posted: 18 Apr 2009 01:25 PM PDT As your might have read before that Windows 7 RC would be out by May 09 i have got some more news to add to it regarding the release date of Windows 7 RC.What happened was, a page in Microsoft partners program accidently showed that that Windows 7 RC will be publically released on May 5, and soon would be available for MSDN and Technet subscribers.Check out the screenshot below which shows that it will release by May 05 2009.
The page said the build was available , a quick check on TechNet and MSDN shows that it’s not yet available there (only the beta is), nor is it available on Microsoft Connect.This looks like one more slip from Microsoft.Some rumours that the Windows 7 UI will be changed and tweaked.As the previous builds this one too will be leaked soon to torrents.This will be the second build to be released publicly after Windows 7 Build 7000.Thanks to Neowin and Windows7Center. |
