| iPhone and Palm Pre Release AT&T Skirmish Smartphone Posted: 24 Apr 2009 04:18 AM PDT We know that the release of the upcoming smartphone, Palm is imminent, which led to his rival Sprint, AT & T for the storage of ammunition ready for an upcoming report to the iPhone 3G skirmish. Apple iPhone carrier would spread to an internal document that details the comparison of the two smartphones.
TechSpot continues to say that this paper makes the front to be more than just paper. It seems that AT & T will use dirty tactics to discredit a telephone, but this is enough to turn consumers against the meadow. AT & T did raise some great points to some of the disadvantages of pre Palm, the first of which is its touch screen control gestures, which are not intuitive. Compare that to the Apple iPhone, which has patented the multi-touch screen navigation with quick and responsive. The carrier also claims that the Pre only “limited” free Wi-Fi, compared to AT & T Wi-Fi hotspots. Other areas where the iPhone is better than before, the iPhone 3G is thinner and lighter, also the lack of pre roaming capabilities outside the United States. [ via product-reviews ] a |
| Kenwood Glass Speakers Music Gadgets Posted: 24 Apr 2009 01:04 AM PDT Kenwood has created a beautiful pair of speakers that are made of glass. The Kenwood SP0001 seems that all eyes.
They have only 10W of power per speaker. They cost 100,000 yen or about $ 1000 U.S. dollars. If you pay a little more you can also get the white and blue LED to illuminate the glass to give a visual effect. Although they seem fantastic, it does not seem much money for a little style for only 10 W of sound. [ via gadgetvenue ] a |

| Apple March Quarter Mac Growth PC Posted: 23 Apr 2009 10:24 PM PDT The PC market is not in a great spot right now, it is not surprising that Apple (AAPL) will make a hard March on its Mac sales growth. Apple has seen its sales of Mac computers stall as it did in the quarter in March, and we are not out of the woods yet.
Business Insider reports that Wall Street expects Apple to report that it has shipped 2.1-2.2 million Macs last quarter, which will be a decrease of 4% -9% over the year decline. This is the first in five years that Apple will report on a yearly decline of its shipping Macs. The last time we saw a decline in Mac shipments of this kind was back in 2003 when they were down 5% on the year, which was just before the launch of its Power Mac G5 launch.
