| Posted: 29 Apr 2009 03:58 PM PDT It was declared last week by Yahoo Geocities team that the free webhosting service will be closed later this year. This means they will not accept any new sign ups or customers/users to use Geocities. As they confirmed, they are closing the service because they want to focus on helping customers to explore and build new relationships online in different ways. Does this mean, they will not offering any free webhosting but a paid web hosting service through their Yahoo Small Business. hmm, is this a desperate move or what? i dont know, but as always, at the end of the day we always say and consider that Business is Business. By the way, if you are a yahoo geocities avid support/user, you may visit this here for more information about this latest buzz. |
