Samsung Galaxy 2 Operating System Mobile Phone Posted: 01 Feb 2010 02:35 AM PST The Galaxy Samsung 2 is said to run on Android 2.1 operating system. After all, they do not want to offer nothing less than the total experience for the consumer, which will activate the mobile Internet on the Galaxy 2. Fast hardware and software will be the optimal combination perfect. The display of the Galaxy Samsung is quite important because it measures 3.7 inches and is of course a touch screen type AMOLED. It is also equipped with a digital camera with an image resolution of 5 megapixels. Just before the start of the CMM, we received information on some new phones, however, there always seems to have a smartphone passes through the mazes, which have not yet officially appeared in the press. Take galaxy Samsung 2 for example, which is apparently the successor of the first Android smartphone from Samsung, and this time it has improved specifications. The first information that reached us on the galaxy Samsung 2 creates high expectations for a smartphone Android fairly advanced. This Samsung smartphone Android has a fast processor at 1GHz Snapdragon and is said to feature up to 32 GB of internal memory for Apps, photo, video and all sorts of data. [via letsgodigital] a |
Sony Ericsson Yari U100i Slider Phone Posted: 31 Jan 2010 11:35 PM PST Contrary to what one might expect given its pretensions of gambling, Yari is not a premium all-screen phone with a processor speed as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 1 GHz used in the HTC and Toshiba HD2 TG01. Instead it is a relatively small slider phone with a non-2.4in touch screen with a resolution of only 240 x 320. This is not just that it’s a phone with either modest pretensions, it also clearly a budget. Most of the body, as you can imagine, plastic, but where other phones manage to pass for build quality limits with some clever design, the Yari, simply looks and feels cheap. The most obvious culprit here is the keyboard that uses a single piece of thin pliable plastic to cover all the buttons, instead of using the individual keys. Although little raised dots mark each key, making typing even possible is always a typing experience quite poor. It is fair to say the Nintendo Wii has been a phenomenal success and the vast majority of this success can be attributed to its revolutionary at the time, motion controller. So it’s no surprise that other companies are falling over themselves to grab a piece of this seemingly lucrative market. This is useful if you have Microsoft or Sony and you want to expand your existing games console capabilities, but the world is really ready for game action on a mobile phone? Sony Ericsson thinks so and the first fruit of this tangent less evident in the market for mobile telephony is the Yari. Read on to see if we were convinced. Concerns also cause the panel is rather fragile and insecure back, volume control awkward on the right side and the navigation keys. They consist of a D-ring pad in the center of which is the select button and four surrounding Black Keys to answer the call, end call / power, task manager, and delete / clear. Above these two thin, transparent soft keys, while two soft keys sit above the screen. They serve a variety of functions, while in games and both open the folder where the games on the desktop. The problem, then, with these keys is that the larger black are rather soft and lacking in feedback, while the finest clear are somewhat difficult to press – especially the first two.
