Mass Effect 2 PS3, Xbox 360 Games PC

Posted: 03 Feb 2010 12:25 PM PST

5 reasons list GamingOgre which are graphics, controls, digital distribution, pricing and customization. Personally, I’m not going to start yet another argument for the console vs. PC, if you have money to buy a platform game high end graphics design have an edge as the PS3 and Xbox 360’s Hardware is older, lets face it, however high-end PS3 and Xbox 360 games look great.

Mass Effect 2 PC than Xbox 360 Games

GamingOgre believe that Mass Effect 2 should be played with a keyboard and mouse, apparently “the amount of control your data is exponentially higher than you can achieve with an analog stick. GamingOgre article titled “5 Reasons You Should Play Mass Effect 2 on PC, you can see their full article here.

You can see details on 5 reasons GamingOgre here, personally I think if the writer GamingOgre is somewhat anti-console. While he is ecstatic that the console version of the game is $ 10 more than the PC version, it seems to ignore the fact that the platform game decent these days will cost 2x, 3x or 4x more details an Xbox 360 or PS3. SIM2 Grand Cinema MICO 50 LED DLP Projector

Posted: 03 Feb 2010 02:45 AM PST

LED looks like it could well become the de facto system lighting for LCD TVs. There just seems to be no arguing with its combination of enhanced performance and extra ecological benefits. And now LED is also making a very strong case for itself in the projection world too.

SIM2 Grand Cinema MICO 50 LED DLP Projector

At the low end of the scale LED lamps have made a whole new product category of ‘pocket’ projectors possible. But it’s at the high end where things have really got exciting, as evidenced by Vivitek’s first outstanding H9080FD, and now by Sim2’s jaw-droppingly good MICO 50.

At the heart of the MICO 50 sits a 0.95in, 1080p DarkChip4 Texas Instruments single-chip DMD a chipset you might well find in any any number of good quality DLP projectors. But it’s what feeds this chipset with its light that matters, namely three Luminus Phatlight (Love that name) PT120 LEDs one each for the red, green and blue color elements. Having three separate light sources Crucially removes the need for the color wheel system generally needed in single-chip DLP projectors.

This means that the MICO 50 should not suffer with the dreaded, color wheel-created ‘rainbow effect’, where stripes of pure red, green and blue can be seen over bright picture elements, or in your peripheral view. In fact, Sim2 reckon the effect of the switching-LED lighting is roughly equal to a 7x color wheel spinning seven times faster – 49x gold color wheel, if you will! As a result other color wheel problems, like color smear and blur, should also vanish without a trace. [via trustedreviews]
