Ghostbusters 1 & 2 Limited Edition Gift Set with Stay Puft Marshmallow Man [DVD] Posted: 29 Aug 2009 12:00 PM PDT The Ghostbusters Double Feature Gift Set is set to be re-released and repackaged. This time without the commemorative book but with a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man figure with base, “ghoulish” playing cards, and gooey slime (if you are well-versed with Ghostbusters vocabulary, it can be referred to as ectoplasm). All features from the previous release are included, which is not surprising since they are probably using the same discs too. Both releases even feature the same gooey, green slime background for the packaging. The Ghostbusters 1 & 2 Limited Edition Gift set has been given an October 6, 2009 release date with a MSRP of $39.95. Hardly a good price since you can score the Ghostbusters Double Feature Gift Set for just $13 via Amazon, but if you simply gotta have that Stay Puft Marshmallow Man figure beside your awesome DVD collection, go for it!
