RadioShack now carrying the T-Mobile myTouch 3G

T-Mobile myTouch 3G (Getting Started Tips)

The T-Mobile myTouch 3G is now available across the over 4,000 locations RadioShack has in the United States and Puerto Rico.

"RadioShack's knowledgeable associates have the expertise to help consumers fully experience the new T-Mobile myTouch 3G," said Doug Chartier, Senior Vice President of Sales at T-Mobile USA. "Our partnership with RadioShack offers customers an excellent shopping experience, delivering the coverage they need at the price they want across a variety of compelling devices."

I wonder if T-Mobile lets RadioShack employees in on their unit-specific trainings in order to properly acquaint them with the devices. Possible, yet highly unlikely.

Logitech Anywhere & Performance MX mice, featuring Darkfield laser tracking technology

Logitech Anywhere & Performance Mouse MX (with Unifying Receiver)

Logitech seems to be continuously adding devices to support its Unifying receiver with the Anywhere Mouse MX and Performance Mouse MX. The former is reminiscent of the Logitech VX Nano, except that the Anywhere MX now has forward and back buttons. The latter is reminiscent of the Logitech MX Revolution, except that the Performance MX has a micro USB port instead of contacts for plugging into a proprietary dock.

Both the Anywhere and Performance MX mice feature Logitech’s latest tracking technology called Darkfield which works even on glass surfaces (glass has to be at least 4mm thick though). That pretty much makes it work on virtually every surface imaginable so you don’t have to lug a mouse pad around.

Standard optical mice and ordinary laser mice are known not to function or work reliably on glass surfaces so Logitech’s Darkfield technology is quite a leap.

These Logitech Darkfield mice will be available starting this month, with the Anywhere Mouse MX retailing for $79.99 and Performance Mouse MX retailing for $99.99.

Below is a video by Logitech product marketing manager Greg Dizac, talking about Darkfield laser tracking technology and the two nice mice.
